My Story

Dr. Amina Mohammad is a California native, born and raised in the Bay Area. Having experienced the healing power of natural medicine personally, she was inspired to become a Naturopathic Doctor. She holds dual degrees from California State University East Bay, including a BA in Psychology and a BS in Molecular Cellular Biology. She received a Master in Public Health from Loma Linda University, with an emphasis in Global Health. During her time in graduate school, she traveled to the Philippines to assess and implement nutrition education programs throughout elementary schools in small provinces.

Desiring to help people achieve optimal health, she then completed her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree at Bastyr University, San Diego. She received specialized training in IV therapy, chelation therapy, Ozone therapy, biofeedback, functional medicine, epigenetics, and functional neurology. Following Naturopathic philosophy, Dr. Amina believes in treating the whole person – mind, body, and spirit. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a particular passion for chronic disease, autoimmunity, mold toxicity, and women’s health. Dr. Amina understands that patients have biochemical individuality and, therefore, does not take a one-size-fits-all approach in treating conditions. She provides comprehensive and individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring biochemical, physiological, and emotional balance empowering her patients to take control of their health.
