I love Dr. Azzolino. I originally went on the recommendation of my boss (who was a patient) after a car accident left me with torn ligaments in my neck and upper back. They booked me in immediately, and let me tell you, I’d NEVER felt so well taken care of by a doctor before! For two hours, Sergio and his staff tested everything from my peripheral vision to sensitivity to reflexes, took x-rays and in general treated me with great care, respect and concern. It took a while to recover, but I looked forward to every visit, knowing I’d feel much better afterwards.

I’ve been back many times over the years for a wrenched back and a misalignment due to a broken leg, and always feel as well cared for as I did on that first visit. Thankfully, It’s been nearly two years since I’ve needed to go (thanks in part to the stretching exercises he taught me), but I always know if I’m bent over like a question mark and in extreme pain, or just feel the need for an adjustment, they’ll be there for me.

I have never in my lifetime been to a Dr’s office that cares so much about their patients that they are willing to call the insurance company while you are working with the Dr. Dr Azzolino not only worked wth me but put the insurance company on speaker phone to drill down what they would cover and how to actually help me find a way to make this work!

He has helped me in less than a week feel better due to a sprained and inflamed lower disc and has even shown me excercises I could do on my own.
The integrity and passion this office has for their work is second to none. I highly recommend Dr Azzolino and his staff!

Lyme Treatment

First and foremost, our clinic is fortunate to have one of the most experienced Lyme (literate) physicians on board to assist our patients. Dr. Stoller has been treating Lyme for over a decade because Lyme patients came to him as he has years of experience treating Lyme with Hyperbaric Oxygen. Dr. Stoller is deeply committed to helping people recover from this infection in the least amount of time possible but the pathos is that most don’t know they have Lyme, will never know, and will never find a physician who knows how to really treat it even if they find out they have Lyme. He can’t help everyone and the sad fact is that Lyme can make its victims mentally compromised and emotionally unstable once it gets into the brain, and once it gets to that stage it is difficult to have patients make the correct decisions for themselves, hence some of the pathos. The Borrelia bacteria that cause Lyme have been infecting humanity for thousands of years.

This is where things stand with Lyme today:

There is a two tier antibody testing algorithm where first line screening tests (Elisa) fail to detect 60% of infections. Those patients who do test positive will be allowed the second more sensitive test (Western blot) but the criteria is so narrow that up to 90% of infected patients are excluded from being told they are positive.

Academic centers that study Lyme only receive grants if they have demonstrated a bias against persistent infection. These researchers are then the “Peers” in the peer-review process, so they only approve each other’s work for publication.

The medical community has been informed that all stages of infection, acute through late stage are easily cured with a standard two-three week treatment with a single antibiotic, which then turns most of those patients into chronic and often debilitated malingerers.

Physicians have not been informed there are congenital and gestational transfer cases or there is confirmed evidence this can be an STD (transfer between sexually active couples).

The blood supply is not screened for the Lyme organism.

Untold numbers of Lyme patients have been told they don’t have Lyme, denied treatment, denied insurance reimbursement and those are the lucky ones.

There is chronic persistent Lyme and you can test negative to the Western Blot and still have Lyme.

The result is that Lyme victim patients bounce from one specialist to another often for decades before they actually find out it was a Lyme infection they have. Most never find out.

If you are diagnosed with Lyme we will personalize your treatment plan and if needed we will employ every known effective therapeutic modality that has shown itself to be effective at treating this infection until there is nothing to treat.
